All Yemen images were taken with a Nikon N80 and Fuji Provia 100 and 400.

Desert Wanderer and Hanna, Sana'a

The wanderer is a self portrait taken in Death Valley, CA. Hanna was Chuck's Arabic teacher in Yemen, and a friend of mine. Both were taken with a Nikon N80 and Provia 100.

Both were selected to be displayed in the Larson Gallery juried art show in May 2003.

Alpine view from the tent and Sand dune vantage point

The tent view features a view of Mt. Baker from our camp at Artist Point in the North Cascade, WA. It was taken with a Nikon FM10 on a rolled sleeping bag and Fuji Provia.
The sand dune vantage point was taken in the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes of Death Valley National Park, CA with a Nikon N80 on tripod (with self-timer) and Fuji Provia.

Both received Awards of Merit from the New York Institute of Photography - New York Institute of Photography

Idaho falls and Reflection on Crescent Lake

The Idaho Falls were taken in Idaho in the town of the same name. The Reflection on Crescent Lake was taken on the Olympics peninsula, WA. Both were taken with a Nikon FM10 and Tri-X 400.

Twigs in snow was taken around Hyak, Snoqualmie Pass, WA, Nikon FM10, Kodak TRI-X 400.
Pelouse in Idaho was taken from the road as we were heading to Wyoming, Nikon FM10, Fuji Velvia.
Mt Rainer was taken from Mt. Margaret, Alpine Lakes wilderness, WA, Nikon FM 10, Fuji Velvia, polarizing filter.
